Koloszár to spearhead Central Europe push

Gergő Koloszár joins Varig to strengthen the company’s push for expansion into his native Hungary and other Central European markets.
Koloszár had his first day as New Business Associate with Varig on September 19th. He says he couldn’t be more excited to join the company.
“I can’t wait to work with sustainability and commercial real estate every day. I’m highly motivated to help promote tech that can drive industries towards a greener future,” Koloszár says.
He looks forward to joining a growing company, operating in a field of particular importance to him.
“I’ve been passionate about preserving our environment since I was a kid. Now, I’m finally going to be working with something that has a tangible positive impact on the planet. I couldn’t be more energized to grow our client base. I definitely believe that Varig will play a significant role in sustainability management and reporting in the years to come,” he says.

Koloszár joins a growing team
New Business Director Charlotte Dedekam is thrilled to have Koloszár onboard, as Varig is in the midst of expanding its business in markets he knows well.
“Gergő has several years of experience in sales and project management. He is used to handle large international accounts. He also has deep knowledge of the Hungarian and German market. His experience will be highly valuable in the strengthening of our client relations in these, and other Central European, countries,” Dedekam says.
Koloszár has previously worked for Maverick Lodges and G-Szer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Budapest Business School.
