
Varig strengthens commercial management

Varig’s new commercial management group is set to fortify its international expansion whilst also gearing up on new business activities in its Nordic home markets.
Chief Commercial Officer Jeppe Grøttland welcomes Thomas J. Reinartz as Varig’s new Sales Director in the Nordics.
“Thomas has extensive experience from real estate in general. And Proptech in particular. He has an impressive track-record in building successful sales organizations. At Varig he already has a solid foundation in place. And I’m very excited to see him strengthen it even further,” Grøttland says.

Reinartz joins Varig from the Proptech-company Findable. Over the past decade he has held key roles in sales and commercialization in the companies Propely, First Mover Group and Regus.
“Varig is in a truly exciting phase. We are already delivering our system in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. But still have huge growth potential in these markets. In the time to come we are going to be landing more deals. And recruit more talent to strengthen our sales organization,” Reinartz says.
International growth
Charlotte Dedekam, who has headed the company’s new business efforts over the past year, now steps into a new international role. The aim is to accelerate Varig’s growth outside of the Nordics.

The company serves clients in the UK, Hungary, and Greece. But is also in talks with property companies in other European markets, such as Germany and Poland.
“Our solution fits well with the many property companies on the continent that own or manage buildings located in different countries. We need to be present to follow up on this demand. I really look forward to spending even more time on our ongoing international expansion,” Dedekam says.
Closer to the clients
Key to Varig’s delivery are the onboarding of buildings and subsequent client engagement activities. Gergő Koloszár, who joined the company in September 2022, now takes over as Varig’s Customer Excellence director.

“Over the past year we’ve taken tremendous steps in the efficacy of our onboarding processes. And we’ve set up effective customer outreach programs. As the real estate industry’s reliable partner on sustainability, we are dedicated to our mission of making sure our clients can derive as much benefit from Varig as possible,” Koloszár says.
